From Overwhelmed to Empowered Stepmom
I became a stepmom in 2020, and despite not fully knowing what I was signing up for, I have never looked back. Today, I can say with full confidence that I truly love my role as a stepmother. That wasn’t always easy, and I deeply empathize with those who aren’t there yet.
Stepmotherhood can feel dark, confusing, isolating, and overwhelming. Many women carry guilt for struggling, resentment they don’t feel safe to voice, and shame for wishing things were different. I understand those feelings, not from theory, but from lived experience. My role is to help you gently unpack what’s keeping you stuck and guide you back toward clarity, peace, and self-trust.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker and therapist, and a stepmom to two teenage stepsons, as well as a mother to two young daughters. Our life is blended, busy, imperfect, and sometimes chaotic—and I absolutely adore it. My work blends clinical expertise with practical, real-life coaching tools, giving you both emotional support and actionable strategies you can use immediately.
I believe stepmoms deserve support that is validating, honest, and judgment-free. You just need space, understanding, and the right support to grow into your own version of this role with confidence.
